Week 1 · Run 01 · October 12, 2026
First run. Out the door.
The first outing with the app I built. Here's its advice and the record of the run.

What I actually wore
I didn't have an ear warmer, so I wore a lightweight hooded long-sleeve top. The hood did its job. I skipped gloves and pulled the stretchy sleeves over my hands instead.
How it felt
I wasn't cold while running. I ignored the chill at the start and only really noticed it during the last 100 feet or so, when I walked home.
My feedback in the app
I chose “No change.” I hadn't followed the outfit advice completely, so I didn't want to adjust it based on this run.
See my journal entry

I logged this after getting home. The journal shows 31°F and fleece gloves; my check before leaving showed 32°F and light gloves.
A note to myself
I forgot to press Run Now before leaving and logged the run at home. Importing Apple Watch workouts through Apple Health could capture the actual start time and duration.
