RunOutNow for iOS
Privacy policy
Data in RunOutNow for iOS. Updated September 13, 2026.
1. About this policy
This policy covers data in RunOutNow for iOS and its supporting service. For privacy requests and support, email runoutnow@icloud.com.
2. Data and its uses
Your email is used for sign-in codes. App and account identifiers support sign-in and synchronization. Apple purchase records let us verify subscriptions and Pro access; we do not receive full card details.
Your selected city, search queries and, with permission, device coordinates provide forecasts and planning. Signed-in requests can be associated with your account. The app does not record GPS running routes.
Clothing profile, pace, run times and duration, weather and outfit context, and comfort feedback, including selected body areas, support your journal and personalization. Settings, forecasts, plans and journal data are also stored on your device.
IP addresses, request and error information support operation and security. Aggregate statistics help us understand service use. We process messages to provide support.
3. Data sharing
Weather and place-search providers receive coordinates or search details; Apple also provides city-name lookup. Email delivery providers receive your address and sign-in message. Apple processes purchases. Hosting and storage providers support the service.
Data may be processed outside your country. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. Disclosure may be required by law or to protect legal rights and service security.
4. Retention and deletion
We retain account data while your account exists. Delete individual runs in the journal. Delete account in Settings removes your email, profile, synchronized runs, sessions and Pro access, and clears the account’s local journal. Signing out alone does not delete your account or all saved data.
Purchase records remain for payment verification, refunds and preventing duplicate claims; no fixed deletion period currently applies. Links to the deleted account are removed, but records are not fully anonymous. Technical records and backups may remain separately.
Deleting your account or the app does not cancel Apple billing. Cancel renewal in Apple’s subscription settings to stop future charges. A subscription does not automatically transfer from a deleted account to a new one.
5. Your choices and rights
Forecasts work without an account. Choose a city manually or revoke location permission in iPhone Settings. Signed-out runs stay local; an eligible recent run may transfer to your account at sign-in.
Legal bases are providing the service, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operation and security, and consent where required. Subject to applicable law, request access, a copy, correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or contact a data protection authority. Email runoutnow@icloud.com; account verification may be required.
6. Protection and updates
We use encrypted connections, protected sign-in storage and access controls. Policy changes appear with a revised date; the text is available in Settings.
